In part two of our series on Emotional Regulation we will dive more into how to coregulate, meaning how you can regulate with your partner or a friend. Often times in the partnership one person will desire coregulation over regulating independently, but it is important to know how to do both! If you are the coregulating partner, it’s usually best to give your partner some time before engaging in coregulation. We’ll also discuss how to help somebody else regulate.

Which is so hard when you like being right as much as we all do! We also dig through how we get so focused on the content of the conversation but how the process is really what is important.
